Rugs: Different Variants by Joe Maldonado
Think or home décor and you will think of rugs. Yes! That is the trend in today's world. Rugs can be found in almost every house as they have become a part of home décor. The rugs are capable of enhancing the aesthetics and beauty of the house. However, it is very essential to be careful while choosing the rugs. There are different types of rugs and they cater to the varied needs of different rooms. While some of the rugs can just be very delicate, the others are actually very tough. Delicate rugs are not suitable in houses which have children and pets because they can be easily damaged. It is then that the tough rugs become more useful. Let us study the different types of rugs which are available.
Synthetic Rugs: These are tough and durable and they are generally made of olefin or polypropylene. They are made to withstand heavy traffic, spills and pet accidents. They are easy to clean and maintain.
Silk Rugs: These are meant for luxury! They can also be used as wall hanging. These rugs have impeccable beauty. They cannot be used in dining rooms or home entrances or areas of high traffic.
Hand Knotted Rugs: The name says it all. They are handcrafted and wool is the main material used for making these rugs. They are good for bedroom use. They can also be used in family rooms, in front of fireplaces, living rooms etc. They can also be used at the entrance of the house but then, it is very important to ensure that the dyes are stable and you must take the pain of vacuuming the carpet at least once each week. Professional cleaning is also needed and that must be done at least 2 times a year.
Carpet Leftover Rugs: These are the rugs which are made using the carpet leftovers. These rugs are good enough to be used in almost any room in the house. These carpets do have a tendency to scratch the floor and hence, it is important to use pads with these carpets. They are best for playrooms and basements.
Wool Felt Shag: Good for adding texture to room. These are not tough fellow and they easily wear out. Cleaning these carpets is also difficult. Occasional vacuuming is OK to take out loose debris from the carpets but deep cleaning can be very difficult. These carpets are ideal for bedroom use.
Hand Tufted Or Designer Rugs: These are general made for use in low traffic areas and they have the odor of latex glue. They can get stained easily and hence, they should not be used in families with children and pets. Bad thing is that the rugs are not at all environment friendly.
Flat Weave Rugs: They are for use in sunrooms, home offices, kitchens, bedrooms etc. They generally turn gray when dirty. These rugs have the ability to add a country or rustic feel to the room.
Art Silk, Cotton, Viscose And Rayon: They cannot tolerate heavy traffic and must be used in places like bedrooms. They also get stained very quickly and hence, they are not good for use in families with pets and children. Good thing is that they can be used as wall hanging!

From what I have read, gravitons are just theoretical particles and there's been no proof that they exist in nature, yet.
