This cat has an amazing capacity to produce urine! She stops and pees in any box she comes across in the house....storage bins, litter box, shoe box, open drawer. She also pees on fabric if it's on the floor or counter...hand towel by sink, kitchen towels, bath rugs, decorative rugs, bath mat. I've cut down on her peeing by removing all objects she is drawn to but now I have no rugs or fabric decor. I keep her litter box very clean. She doesn't seem to be "marking" but rather just relieving herself. Had her checked for urinary problems and she's fine. Is she just retarded?
