What color should I paint my wall?
I have a hunter green rug 
I can't change it, so I have to deal with it. But, I want to paint so I need ideas on what color to paint the wall.
Don't be so bummed about the rug, I dont know what your style is, but you can make the room nice even with that terrible color. Try to choose lighter colors to brighten up the room. Tans and browns look great with green, so try to do a light, neutral color wall, and add your color somewhere else. By adding throw pillows, wall decor, an afghan, candles, anything that can be colorful, you can bring in cute colors like sage green, pale yellow, chocolate brown, deep reds, anything you like. Since you dont seem to like the hunter green, don't add it anywhere else, consider your hunter green rug just as an accent, and choose colors to make up the rest of the room that will match. Make the rest of the room colorful and exciting so that you don't even notice the carpet.
