So I think the texture is actually like the spirit of the clothing because small differences in the texture can affect great differences in the actual item of clothing. That is why I think that mesh bags are so unique. They have a lot of breathability usually and tend to feel more flexible than something harder like leather. And to the eye, they can be also very attractive with certain patterns for other outfits. Of course, it can be difficult to find a bag that you like. But there are many options online. What is the name of this book?
I read this book in about 1988. It centres around 2 girls. One lives in a sterile middle class English environment where her mum cooks dinner parties from recipes in a little plastic box, all neat and tidy. The other apparently lives in a fantastic large house with a mum who cooks French cuisine with bloody animals ready to be turned into wonderful gourmet food. It transpires that the latter girl is lying about her life. It was a really interesting book, but I cannot remember the author or the title. Any ideas ?
